Agree. DONT Update.
This update makes for a childish appearing (including a cartoonish hard to read font), overly simplified, and advertisement filled game rather than a real brain trainer. I was VERY disappointed after reading about the "ground up" redesign, thinking there would be more control to customize it. Instead the settings give the user only one option. You cant even set the N back level.
IMO, some useful user defined settings would be: toggle "in game feedback" to on or off; ability to set the N back level to manual adjust. And some more advanced options (to reduce boredom while training) would be to offer the option to speed up the pace; a "classic" look option; a choice to lengthen the duration of each exercise; possibly change voices to male or female; reverse the audio and visual buttons (to make it consistent with other n-back trainers the user may own), Etc. Keep trying guys.
